'EastEnders' unveils Sharon return trailer - watch now

EastEnders bosses have unveiled the official BBC trailer for Sharon Watts's upcoming return to the soap.

The stylish promo has a storm theme, hinting that there could be huge drama ahead as "Hurricane Sharon" descends on Walford.

Sharon is seen wearing a wedding dress, as her return storyline sees her calling on Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) for help when her wedding day goes wrong.

An EastEnders statement teased: "Hurricane Sharon is hurtling towards the Square, trailing destruction in her wake."

Sharon's comeback airs next month from August 13 in a big week featuring seven episodes.

The week in question will also see Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) finally discover the truth about the murder of her best friend Heather Trott.

Letitia Dean, who plays Sharon, announced her decision to return to EastEnders back in February, and she filmed her return scenes in June.
