'EastEnders': Kat's confession attracts 7.5m in Thursday ratings

EastEnders was the most-watched soap on Thursday evening (September 13) as Kat Moon was finally honest with husband Alfie, overnight figures show.

The Walford drama pulled in 7.46m (36.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Kat told a devastated Alfie that she had been unfaithful again. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 566k (3.9%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 6.21m (32.3%) at 7pm on ITV1 and 140k (0.6%) on +1 as Carl demanded £30,000 from Chas, while the aftermath of his ultimatum was witnessed by 5.72m (26.5%) at 8pm and 288k (1.4%) on timeshift.

After Emmerdale, the latest episode of The Corrie Years interested 2.92m (13.5%) at 8.30pm on ITV1 and 175k (0.8%) on +1.

Also airing in the 8pm hour, Waterloo Road's new series continued with 3.72m (17.2%) as Imogen's secret was revealed.

Hollyoaks managed 833k (4.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Nancy paid another visit to a troubled Mitzeee, while E4's first look claimed 588k (3.1%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 590k (9.5%) at 1.45pm and 882k (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 618k (3.8%) at 6pm and 439k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.07m (17.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
