'Enders argument blown "out of proportion"
A claim in a tabloid newspaper that EastEnders actress June Brown delayed production of the soap following an argument over storylines has been blown out of proportion, Digital Spy was told today.

June – who has played Walford veteran Dot Branning for 22 years – supposedly held up on-location filming in Tring, Hertfordshire, for two hours while she complained about her storylines and a row allegedly ensued with co-star John Bardon (Jim Branning).

"It was literally a disagreement and nothing more. It's been blown out of all proportions," a source told DS.

A spokesperson for the soap, meanwhile, confirmed: "John and June are not leaving EastEnders."

June celebrates her 80th birthday next week, while her on-screen character is expected to have a birthday bash of her own soon after.
