Phil (Steve McFadden) is feeling optimistic about the residency case as he meets his solicitor Jimmie at the café. However, the news isn't good as Jimmie advises that it will be difficult to prove that Phil has a stable home life now that Shirley is out of the picture.
Jimmie also advises that Phil will have to keep his businesses 100% legit to avoid putting off social services with any dodgy activities, which will be another big challenge for him.
Phil soon realises that drastic action will be needed to prove himself to the authorities, but what he has planned is bound to cause a stir in Walford…
