Having successfully split up Joey and Lauren following the pair's car crash, Derek's next priority is to ensure that his wayward son sticks around in Walford, still holding out hope that they can get on better terms.
Knowing that Joey will want to leave the area following his break-up, Derek (Jamie Foreman) confronts Tanya and asks for her help in encouraging him to stay.
Tanya (Jo Joyner) initially refuses to get involved in Derek's problems, but when he threatens to reveal Lauren's drink-driving to the police, she is forced to rethink her attitude…
