When Shirley (Linda Henry) learns that the pair have become engaged in a scheme to win custody of baby Lexi, she is naturally suspicious over Phil's motives and can't resist interfering.
Paying a visit to Sharon to demand answers, Shirley warns that she doesn't know everything about Phil - bringing up his crack addiction and how he burned down the Queen Vic.
Sharon tries not to show that she is rattled, but Shirley vows that a man like Phil shouldn't be allowed to raise a young child and promises that she'll do whatever it takes to make sure it doesn't happen…
