'EastEnders': 8.1m see Masood, Ayesha latest on Thursday

EastEnders was Thursday evening's (January 31) most-watched soap as Ayesha stepped up her pursuit of Masood, overnight figures show.

The latest visit to Albert Square, which saw Ayesha try to seduce Masood while wearing just a towel, appealed to 8.07m (36.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One. BBC Three's repeat screening had 484k (3.1%) at 10.30pm.

Masood is shocked to find Ayesha in just a towel wanting his attention.

Emmerdale's double bill kicked off with 7.02m (32.7%) at 7pm on ITV as Cameron finally arrived back in the village, while 6.56m (29.1%) returned at 8pm and 205k (0.9%) on +1 to see Cameron propose to Chas.

Waterloo Road attracted 3.47m (15.4%) at 8pm on BBC One with a big episode for Chalky and Kevin.

Hollyoaks managed 1.01m (5.0%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as the McQueens sparked a bar brawl at The Dog, while E4's first look secured 597k (2.8%) at 7pm and 133k (0.8%) on +1.

On Channel 5, Neighbours mustered 752k (10.2%) at 1.45pm and 898k (5.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away was seen by 741k (3.9%) at 6pm and 461k (2.3%) at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors entertained 1.59m (21.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
