Ian Beale's EastEnders home is valued as the most expensive soap property by experts, The Sun reports.

Property website Zoopla valued Beale's (Adam Woodyatt) four-bedroom semi-detached home in Walford at £597,233.

The Trueman family residence in Neighbours is ranked second (£587,337) with the Wickses' home coming third (£502,391) due to its proximity to the Queen Vic pub, market and Tube station.

EastEnders's Walford counterpart Walthamstow has the top average house prices at £439,785. Emmerdale (Esholt, West Yorkshire) is second with £229,207 while Chester, the double for Hollyoaks, has average prices of £193,698.

The Salford area in Greater Manchester, Coronation Street's equivalent, came last with £96,341.
