Here's an awesome clip from a future episode of EastEnders, during which Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is forced to come to terms with the possibility that she is suffering from bipolar disorder, exactly the same condition as her mother Jean (Gillian Wright).

Click 'play' below to watch the emotional moment Stacey speaks with the doctor.

Excellent acting. But then, she always was great in the more difficult stages of her life and Stacey.

Lacey Turner is an amazing young actress, what challenging subject she been given of the writers team this time, whether people like it or not, or find it depressing, there's people out there with it and bringing it to the screens at least gives people a chance to understand it. Hope she gets TV award.

She's such an amazing actress. I really do believe that she could take her skills higher and star in big budget movies. That scene sent goose bumps through me!

She's such an amazing actress, she is so underestimated. She should totally hit the big screen and appear in big movies and stuff she so deserves it.

Eastenders was my favourite programme that I use to enjoy watching with my kids until recently. Its becoming more and more dirty whether its Dawn in her undies or Syed kissing Christian that's not the kind of stuff you want your kids exposed to at all.

I wonder how long Stacey has actually had bipolar disorder.

Wow, Lacey is such a good actress! Most of the characters on the Square are boring nowadays, but they continue to put Stacey in the best storylines, including this one. Can't wait to see how this storyline turns out!

About time she was diagnosed, it is time for this storyline to come to a head. It is so miserable and depressing

This scene is less than a minute long, yet it is extremely powerful. Just goes to show that Lacey is an outstanding actress.

I love Lacey Turner and it's a mark of her ability than people feel for her when she's in these situations. Easties has a lot of throwaway characters but when they have one good one, they really shine through!

Wooow...She is such a Good Actress...!!
