Last week, I asked whether EastEnders should bring back Chrissie Watts.

You voted in your thousands and a huge 75.8% of you said that she has unfinished business and should therefore make a comeback. At the other end of the spectrum, 16.1% of you went for the 'no, she should be left in prison never to be seen again'. The remaining 8.1% wouldn't commit either way.

So there we go, it's a resounding yes from this end.

Producers, over to you...

Moving quickly onto this week's poll, which asks 'Should Ronnie move on with her life?'

Next week, EastEnders' Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) is confronted with a face from the past when she finds her first love - and Danielle's father - Joel Reynolds (Cavan Clerkin) in The Vic.

With the visit having been orchestrated by Janine (Charlie Brooks), Ronnie's aghast and drops a bottle of champagne on sight of him. Phil (Steve McFadden) throws Janine and Joel out and as he tries to leave the Square, his car conveniently fails to start.

Ronnie tries to help out but it's her father Archie (Larry Lamb) who saves the day. As he drives away from the pub, Joel hands Ronnie a business card if ever she needs her accounts doing. Ooh, I say...

Predictably, Ronnie soon puts in the call and she's raking up all her old emotions again.

So for this week's vote, I'm asking if you think it's worth exploring this avenue of Ronnie's story? Should Joel have been left as just a name? Or are you pleased that we're going to meet him? Will the reappearance of a ghost from her past only serve to make Ronnie more miserable? Or could he be the one to change her life forever?
