All you people what are bashing the soap like saying it's boring . What were you doing on this news story in the first place if you don't like the thing? Jesus. I really like the new titles, good job EE.

My wife and I just returned from the Cook Islands. We can safely say that not even the water there is that blue. How they reckon the Thames is beggars belief. Ridiculous!
Alan, North East, on September 12th, 2009
The titles have grown on me, not sure about the fading in and shadowy titles but overall cool. I'm not sure why people going 'I can't see the difference...' or 'why is the river blue it's not that blue'. How can you not see the difference??!LOL and why shouldn't the river be blue - at least you can see it, much nicer than the flourescent green of the 90's (which i never understood - a green river??) and horrible sludge colour of the last decade. Have you forgotten the original iconic title sequence?? It had a BLUE RIVER LOL If you look at google earth etc it shows up blue. Anyway it's meant to be a symbol, not necessarily an absolute copy of what's there. I wonder if the same people commented on the original 'I didn't know London was black and white or that the river was so blue...'! LOL wouldn't surprise me....I feel this update is like an update of the original with a retro 80's feel to the music and a nod to the early blue river. I'm so glad the blue river is back!

I think its horrid, I thought the colours had gone funny on my tv. same tune same look just one coat of value paint slapped on. Eastenders has been giving me a headache this week anyway!!!! Sam Mitchel? I remember the old sam but trying to put the other sams plots together with this sam is doing my head in.

I don't like it! It look like toilet blue water. Bring back the old one. If it ain't broke, why change it!!!
Bernard, on September 8th, 2009
Boring titles for a boring show.
Andrew, Vancouver, BC, on September 8th, 2009
Um, it looks the same as the old opening credits. There's nothing really different about it
Jon, London, on September 7th, 2009
The Thames has NEVER been that blue
Renee, Philadelphia, on September 7th, 2009
Glad that it wasn't changed too much. It sounds basically the same
Aisha Ali, Tottenham, on September 7th, 2009
The credits are my favourite part, apart from the actual program.
Medusa Cartwright , on September 6th, 2009
Not much of an impression more or less the same
Tony, London, on September 5th, 2009
Dreadful titles for a dreadful programme. 'Slash your wrists' TV...
James, Mirfield, on September 5th, 2009
I'm sorry you deluded people, but can't you tell the difference between blue and green water? And the clouds as well? And the slightly different tune? Very good title sequence.
Ashley, London, on September 5th, 2009
Good job but I think I prefer the old one this one is just too blue I've been there loads of times the water doesn't look that blue in real life
Jasmine, Aylesbury, on September 4th, 2009
It looks exactly the same I see no difference its just a lot brighter and cheaper.
Zoe Sophocles, London UK , on September 4th, 2009
it looks exactly the same.... just slightly more bright and contrasted....... I'm surprised only some people can see that it is literally the same! (very confused).
Maureen Smith, Berri SA Australia, on September 4th, 2009
sorry I think that it the same????
Helen Falkingham, Melbourne Australia, on September 4th, 2009
I love it - can't wait to see it on the telly.
Francis, Hackney, on September 3rd, 2009
