God no! EastEnders are gonna ruin her character. She's going from tragic heroine to 'tragic slut. Either make Joel more interesting or give her back to Jack.

They're really going to ruin Ronnie's character if this is true. Now I know that the Mitchell family isn't the most squeaky clean, but I'm sure that Ronnie wouldn't hook up with Owen when she's already with Joel. After Danielle's death, you'd think she'd calm down a bit. But no! The writers have made her too out of character. People are going to lose viewers quickly otherwise.

I wonder if this means Joel will no longer be around?

Sam Womack (Ronnie) is my favourite character in Eastenders but I'm fast becoming sick to the back teeth of the route the writers are taking with her grief over Danielle storyline ! First she bounced back to Jack, now Joel who hasn't been given a chance by the writers in my opinion. The actor Cavan Clerkin has so much potential but they are portraying him as a meek mild mannered mixed up guy who has obviously bitten off more than he can chew with the Mitchells. Now, it would seem from the spoilers out there that they are going to pair Ronnie up with Owen. What an absolute joke !!! The Ronnie we have all come to love over the last 2 years would never be drawn to a man who attempted to murder his own child. Before Danielle's death we had only ever seen Ronnie in a relationship with one man, Jack. Since Danielle died there's been 3 men in her life - giving Ronnie a storyline where she deals with grief through troubled relationships with men is not the answer !!! Are the writers attempting to darken Ronnie's character somewhat and show her taking a walk on the wild side ? Or perhaps she is drawn to Owen as he is dangerous like her Dad, Archie. For whatever reason it does not sit well with me at all. I'm a true fan of the show and will always keep watching as long as Sam Womack is in the show but I really hope that some time soon Eastenders start to get Ronnie's character back on track and allow her to deal with her grief in a believable manner.

Ronnie is crazy, she is in a relationship with Joel isn't she. Maybe she's just desperate for a baby... :@
