Hey Kris, what's your problem? Where are the long promised results of the survey? Why are you hiding them? Or was that survey put just for making the article bigger?
[If you're a regular reader, you'd know that the results are always published the following Saturday, a week after the poll was opened and just hours after the poll closes. Publishing the results before the poll ends wouldn't be fair, would it? - KG]

I think the storyline of involving a young teenager with Heather Trot is quite Bizarre! Especially when Darren is just launching out with a good career and Libby.

This storyline is just disgusting!!! Darren is like a little kid and heather trot an old woman! Just pathetic, come on writers come up with something new and original. Getting bored of the same old storylines!!!!

I actually thought the story line was great. Was such a twist. Would have been boring if the father was any of the other three

Really stupid and unbelievable. They could have given poor Heather a "real" man!

a load of crap. unrealistic, stupid...

I can't abide Heathers character, she's always crying or looking hurt. If they perked her up a bit and made her less one dimensional I might summon up the interest to be revolted by the whole Darren thing, as it is I just tune out whenever she comes on screen. Bores me to death.

oh my god,,its gross he looks like a kid himself and heather described him as a man he's just a boy! eeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuch!!

I think this is an absolutely disgusting storyline. It makes Heather look like a cradle snatcher/pervert. How or why would this happen between them?

I think the choice of Darren being the babys dad is really ridiculous! Although i guessed right ,long before the episodes climax , I still find the concept incredibly stupid. It was obvious it was Darren due to a number of clues, including him being the odd one out in not being shown travelling to the hospital. I personally think that Phil would have been a great twist! Logically, Darren could be Heathers son for goodness sake! I cant believe Eastenders have been so silly, especially after the Danielle saga.Darren being the father is unbelieveable, but Eastenders always does the unthinkable! Despite this I am a fan of the show and do think it could be quite intresting to see how the storyline is dealt with as both Heather and Darren are really talented actors. We all know its going to end in tears though , mostly Libby's-which is a real shame! The writers have simply taken a step too far and I dont think its going to pay off with the viewers. This is utterly stupid!

ridiculously awful storyline

unfortunately I guessed correctly ages ago - based on the slimness of the hand that slid the yogurt lid under the bathroom stall door. No way could that slim hand belong to Minty or Phil.
Yvonne, Newcastle upon Tyne on October 24th, 2009
It would have been a bit more interesting as story lines go if it had of been phil's especially with heather being mates with shirley or even minty's but darren why ????????

Where's the button for "Oops, there goes my dinner!"?

I find that storyline very inhumane and vile!!! shocking too! coz me and my friends thought it wouldn't be darren at all! but as usual, its always the least suspect, especially in eastenders. If you think about it logically, darren could be heather's son, thats if heather decided to have children earlier on.So that is why I find it very ridiculous and weird.I don't think I would want to watch eastenders anymore.Eastenders going to lose viewers over this farce of a storyline! pathetic!!! shame on you writers!!!

what a load of rubbish. As if! He didn't even seem that bothered at the party. A complete waste of licence fee!!!

i think the storyline of The 'Who's The Daddy?' is so boring and not fun at all

I think this is disgusting. ok he's over the age of consent but still, its so unrealistic, next thing you know jay and ronnie will be running off together whilst peggy and pat become an item. EE has lost the plot. So hows it going to pan out. Darren says he doesnt want anything to do with the baby, shirl threatens darren. darren feels guilty at xams and goes to see the baby then bang! libby finds out on xmas day. she goes to see that creep adam and they'll sleep together and adam will rub it in darrens face. For once i thought EE would allow someone to be happy. why dont they realise the world is a depressing place as it is and we from time to time want to see people happy and that young love can survive.

I was in complete shock!

I was surprised that the father of Heather's baby in EastEnders was revealed to be Darren. What was he thinking of getting Heather who's old enough to be his mum pregnant?.
Peter, Harlow on October 24th, 2009
I'm disappointed that the poll isn't about Carla's return in Corrie which was arguably more dramatic!
Paula, Netherlands on October 24th, 2009
Heather and Darren together is unimaginable. Darren is practically a child and Heather is the motherly type. There could be no sexual tension between them This has nothing to do with her being big. Heather is a bit like Jane in the respect of motherhood, and I can see her keeping Darren at arm's length even if his hormones are all over the place.
