Video: Jane and Masood's kiss in 'EastEnders'
Published Thursday, Nov 5 2009, 15:00 GMT | By Kris Green | 5 comments
This is the EastEnders moment that we've all seen coming for months.
Jane (Laurie Brett) finally locks lips with Masood (Nitin Ganatra) during tonight's episode but it's not as clear cut as it seems. From the outset, you'd think that Jane simply gives in to temptation - but there's a whole lot more to it.
Earlier in the evening, Jane has an argument with Ian (Adam Woodyatt) over her desire to adopt - and Ian ends up telling her that he has enough parental responsibility, before suggesting that if she wants a child, she should find another man.
A devastated Jane seeks solace in Masood and in the heat of the moment kisses him.
They do agree to forget it ever happened, but it has to surface at some point, doesn't it? Nothing ever remains a secret in Albert Square...

Ian has to be the most selfish b*****d on earth. About time he was brought down a peg or two.
