For the last 17 years, EastEnders aficionado Larry Jaffee has followed Albert Sqaure's high drama with the fan newspaper Walford Gazette.

Over the years Jaffe has interviewed many of the BBC soap's iconic stars including Barbara Windsor, June Brown, Steve McFadden, John Altman, Patsy Palmer and Sid Owen and now, for the first time, they appear in book form.

To tie in with the BBC soap's 25th anniversary, Jaffee recently released a tribute book titled 'Albert Square & Me: The Actors of EastEnders', which boasts a 52-strong collection of Jaffee's best interviews from his time avidly following the show.

Featured within the publication's 215 pages are interviews with stars from across the show's two-and-a-half decade history, including iconic Queen Vic landlord and lady Leslie Grantham (Den Watts) and Anita Dobson (Angie Watts) and the late Gretchen Franklin (Ethel Skinner).

From the Mitchell era, Barbara Windsor (Peggy), Steve McFadden (Phil) and Sam (Danniella Westbrook) appear alongside Jacksons Carol (Lindsey Coulson), Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) and Alan (Howard Antony).

In celebration of EastEnders' anniversary week, Jaffee has given Soap Scoop three signed copies of 'Albert Square & Me' to give away.
