Phil's heart attack, Corrie scheming, E'dale row

This is the moment that Walford hardman Phil Mitchell suffers a heart attack in a dramatic episode of EastEnders due to air later this month.
The latest Albert Square drama kicks off when a scheming Phil demands £5,000 from Ian in return for keeping quiet about his affair with Glenda - warning that Jane will find out everything if he doesn't pay up.
At first, Ian thinks he can get out of the mess by begging Shirley for help, but she insists that he deserves everything he gets. Feeling helpless, Ian soon realises that he'll have to give into Phil's demands.
However, when he heads over to R&R to pay his arch-rival, Ian is shocked to find Phil and Glenda in a passionate clinch. Just as a huge confrontation seems inevitable, there's another twist in store as Phil collapses to the ground clutching his heart.
As Glenda rushes off to get help, Ian is left alone with his nemesis, who's in a desperate state. Will Ian help Phil or leave him for dead?

Meanwhile, over on Coronation Street, it looks like Chris's twisted scheming could be about to bear fruit.
After arranging for Janice's flat to be burgled by his mate Billy, Chris pays him for doing his dirty work as everyone on the street wonders who could have been responsible for the break-in.
As Janice was heading off for a holiday at the time of the incident, the police question her about the cab firm that she used to get to the airport. When she confirms that it was Streetcars, it's not long before the finger of suspicion is pointing at Lloyd and he ends up being taken away for questioning.
Will Lloyd get the blame for a crime he didn't commit? And will he realise that he's being set up by Chris?

Coming up in Emmerdale, as speculation over who started the fire continues to dominate conversation in the village, Carl is furious when his name crops up as a possible suspect.
In The Woolpack, the situation leads to a full-blown row between Carl and Chas as the bitterness between them boils over.
However, Carl makes a big mistake by lashing out in front of twisted Detective Henshall, who arrests him on the spot.
Has Carl played into Henshall's hands?

Finally, here's the moment that Darren puts his relationship with Nancy at risk by asking for a big favour in Hollyoaks.
Following the birth of his twins in the upcoming 3,000th episode, Darren explains that Suzanne has nowhere to stay and suggests that she and the kids could move into Nancy's flat.
Nancy is appalled by the prospect but it's not long until she's living in a madhouse with Darren, Suzanne and the babies.
As the stress gets too much, are Nancy and Darren heading for splitsville or can they stay united?

These scenes air on Monday, January 24 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
