'Enders disaster, Xin latest, E'dale deceit

Here's a first look at the dramatic disaster which hits the Masood family on EastEnders next month as the roof of their Argee Bhajee restaurant collapses.

As DS exclusively revealed earlier this month, the shock accident occurs on the night of Tamwar and Afia's engagement party, throwing the event into chaos and placing Syed's life in jeopardy.

Before the celebrations kick off, Greg tries to fix some damage at the restaurant but has to inform Masood that the extension is dangerous and he should close the Argee Bhajee until it has been properly repaired. However, Masood foolishly decides to ignore the builder's advice.

Once the party gets under way, Syed arrives to support his brother with Christian in tow. However, Masood and Zainab are horrified and order the couple to leave as they are not welcome.

An argument then ensues but the rowing is interrupted as the ceiling of the restaurant suddenly gives way, burying the guests in a cloud of dust and debris. Syed, meanwhile, is trapped by a large piece of plasterboard.

Just when things look like they can't get any worse, the roof beam above Syed comes crashing down on top of him. Will he survive?

Speaking of the drama in store, a Walford insider said: "Determined to save face and continue with the party, Masood goes against all the advice Greg gives him. However this proves to be a perilous decision when the roof collapses, leaving eldest son Syed buried in the rubble.

"Although they are estranged, Masood and Zainab are terribly worried about their son. Things look like they are in a pretty bad way - can Syed be saved?"

Over on Coronation Street, as the sham wedding organised by Graeme, Xin and Tina draws closer in the next fortnight, the trio will struggle to keep their deception under wraps.

With Graeme and Tina spending hardly any time together in order to avoid arousing suspicions, they're struggling without each other's company - prompting Xin to act as a go-between for the pair, arranging a secret meeting for them at the flat.

As Xin gives the couple some time alone and they enjoy a rendezvous, she heads out on to the street and bumps into Rita, who demands a word with her and Graeme upstairs.

Unable to think of an excuse, Xin takes Rita up to the flat, forcing Tina to do some quick-thinking and hide away before the Kabin worker sees her.

Rita then gives Graeme and Xin a piece of her mind as she chastises them for their 'mistreatment' of Tina. Will Tina be able to remain hidden or will Rita stumble across the shocking truth?

Coming up in Emmerdale, Kelly will soon stoop to a new low as she battles to win Jimmy's heart and steal him away from Nicola.

With Jimmy still unsure about where his future lies, Eve decides to help out Kelly in her scheme - presenting her with some mocked-up photos showing her and Jimmy together, as well as forged hotel receipts.

Later, as she meets up with Jimmy again, Kelly hands him the material given to her by Eve - claiming that it is 'proof' of their affair.

Jimmy is shocked by the apparent confirmation that he was cheating on Nicola before his amnesia. Could this tip things in Kelly's favour?

Finally, Hollyoaks' Brendan Brady has kept many secrets from his sister Cheryl since arriving in the village last summer - but in an episode airing early next month, it's the moment that fans have been waiting for as she finally makes some shocking discoveries.

When Cheryl pays a visit to Ste, the barman realises that she still doesn't know he was the person who put Brendan in hospital. Bracing himself for a backlash, Ste tells Cheryl everything.

Later, Brendan is shocked when Cheryl is aggressive towards him and wonders what's going on. But she can't handle his lies for any longer and flies into a rage.

Soon afterwards, Pete turns up and adds fuel to the fire by revealing something else about Brendan's past. Cheryl can't believe that she hasn't seen the real Brendan sooner, but how will she react when her beloved brother goes missing?
