Kat and Alfie reach a turning point in EastEnders later this month as they celebrate Tommy's christening with their friends and family around them.
At the church, the residents of Walford can see that Kat is ecstatic to finally have her family back together, while Ian and Jean stand proud as godparents.
Later, as the ceremony is drawing to a close, Jack walks in and Alfie asks the vicar if he can take the time to acknowledge another little boy who couldn't be there, saying: "God bless, James."
Jack appreciates Alfie's kind gesture, but the emotion of the service soon becomes too much for him and he decides to leave the church.
Speaking of the christening, a Walford insider commented: "Kat and Alfie can't believe how lucky they are to have Tommy back. They are overjoyed that they are able to celebrate with all their friends and family around them.
"Kat is pleased when she sees Jack arrive at the christening and tells him that she hopes they can now start to rebuild their lives."

These scenes air on Monday, May 16 at 8pm on BBC One.
Meanwhile, mischievous Eileen will soon play matchmaker on Coronation Street when she tells Sean that she is setting him up on a blind date.
However, Sean later realises that he's been duped by Eileen as when he turns up to meet his mystery man, he discovers that it's none other than Marcus, who's recently returned to Weatherfield.
Sean is initially annoyed over Eileen's interference but he and Marcus begin to relax in each other's company, and it becomes clear that the old spark between the former couple is still there.
Later, when Marcus moves in for a kiss, will Sean respond? And is this a fresh start for the pair?
