Syed tries to support Zainab as she hits rock bottom on EastEnders later this month, but his efforts lead to tension with Christian.

With Zainab and Masood's marriage continuing to crumble, they try to pretend to Tamwar that everything is okay, but there's no fooling Syed, and when he pays a visit to his mother at the Minute Mart, he suggests that she and Masood should try to get some relationship help.

When Zainab dismisses Syed's suggestion, he's forced to snap at her and she's soon sobbing away as her inner turmoil is too much to bear. For a moment, the pair come together, but Zainab eventually pushes Syed away and insists that she's fine.

Christian is watching and interrupts them as he thinks that Zainab is being unfair to Syed, but he then receives a rejection of his own as Syed tells him to stay out of it.

A Walford insider revealed: "Zainab is struggling to keep it together when she knows that her marriage is in crisis, and when Syed arrives at the Minute Mart trying to help, she breaks down.

"Not wanting to show how broken she is, she quickly composes herself and insists she is fine. Syed knows that she is a proud woman and doesn't want to let her guard down. However, Christian thinks this is just another example of Zainab taking advantage of Syed - but he is shocked when Syed tells him to keep his nose out."

Meanwhile, there's some surprising moments ahead for Coronation Street's Sally Webster towards the end of the month as her personal life takes some surprising twists.

When Kevin is left injured following an accident at the garage, Sally makes the shock decision to let him move back in with her so that she can help him with baby Jack while he recovers.

Sally makes it clear to Kevin that he won't be able to worm his way back in romantically as she's loving her new relationship with Jeff, but as she plays mum to Jack, it's a clear reminder of the days they spent as a couple.

At the same time, Jeff is more determined than ever to take his relationship with Sally further, and after inviting her out for a romantic lunch, he drops down on one knee and asks her to marry him.

Sally is left stunned by Jeff's proposal, but what will her answer be?

Over on Emmerdale, it's all about to kick off between Debbie, Cameron, Carl and Eve as jealousy and tension spiral out of control in the village.

When Debbie spots Cameron flirting with Eve, she starts to wonder whether she can trust him. Not long afterwards, Debbie finds herself in an argument with Carl over his affair with Chas, and he fuels her suspicions by spitefully asking how long it will take for Cameron to start playing away with Eve.

Devastated at the suggestion, it's clear that Debbie is feeling more emotional than usual and she later explains herself to Charity and Chas, admitting that she needs to know whether she can trust Cameron because she's pregnant.

Debbie soon has a frank discussion with Cameron, admitting her suspicions and the role that Carl played in making her feel uneasy. Cameron insists that he's done nothing wrong but is furious to hear that Carl has stirred things up.

Later, at the office, Eve has got wind of Carl's behaviour and explodes at him over his manipulations. But it's not the end of the matter as Cameron also turns up and gets even by punching Carl in the face…

Coming up in Hollyoaks, Brendan is about to launch a surprising scheme as he decides to seduce Ste's boyfriend Noah.

Brendan kicks off his latest manipulations by signing up for a training course at the spa, which means that a reluctant Noah is forced to take him on as a client.

Noah puts the Irishman through his paces as their spa sessions begin, but it's not long until Brendan senses that he's getting the upper hand with the personal trainer. It seems that he could be right as Noah has an erotic dream about Brendan.

Certain that Ste's ex is up to something, Noah eventually decides to call off the arrangement, but Brendan won't give up that easily and calls him round to pick up the money that he owes for the sessions. At the same time, Brendan also invites Ste over to bring some papers to the house.

Finally, the schemer's plans come together as Noah succumbs to his advances just as Ste walks in… How will Ste react and has Brendan succeeded in splitting them up?
