As most fans know by now, Eddie - played by David Essex - is seen on screen for the first time with a brief appearance next Friday.
Eddie then turns up at the Queen Vic at the start of the next week (June 6) and he won't get a warm welcome from everyone…
Show bosses have already teased that Eddie has a "fractured relationship" with his son Michael, but the reason behind that remains a mystery for now.
