'Enders Ian shock, Corrie house move, E'dale clash, 'Oaks arrival

By
EastEnders businessman Ian Beale stoops to new lows next month when he pretends that his wife is dead in a desperate bid to woo a new woman.

Meeting nursery worker Cheryl at the local playgroup, Ian explains that Bobby is missing his mother and when she assumes that Jane has passed away, the Walford weasel enjoys being on the receiving end of sympathy and fails to correct her.

However, when the pair go on a date together, Ian's pretence becomes harder to maintain as Cheryl starts asking questions about Jane. Thrown into a panic, Ian asks his new love interest whether he'd like to "meet Jane" and quickly puts a plan into action.

Rushing over to the Moon & Sons antiques emporium, Ian gets his hands on an urn before taking it to show Cheryl - declaring that he likes to keep Jane close.

A Walford source commented: "When Cheryl asks about Jane, Ian gets flustered from all the lies and before he can stop himself, he suggests that she meet Jane.

"He buys the urn and brings 'Jane' to meet Cheryl. Ian is shocked when Cheryl buys his story and agrees to go out with him again."

We also have a bonus picture for EastEnders this week showing the moment that ditzy Poppy Meadow falls for the charms of Tyler Moon.

Paying a visit to the salon, Tyler reveals that he's looking for something that will keep his body looking buff. However, when Poppy explains that he'll need to shower first, he quickly pulls off his shirt to show off his torso before heading upstairs for a shower.

The insider said: "Tyler arrives in and starts flirting with the girls. Although Poppy tries to remain professional, it isn't long until she has fallen for his Moon charm and asks him out on a date!"

With nowhere else to go, Tina finds herself accepting a room at Tyrone's and the pair share the news with Tommy. Thrilled by the development, Tommy believes that his best chance of wooing Tina has finally arrived.

However, when Tommy agrees to let Tina cook for him but cheekily agrees to a meal with Amber behind her back, it looks like he's playing with fire. Will Tommy blow his chances with Tina by trying to charm two women?

When Diane is short-staffed at The Woolpack, she agrees to let Eve work a shift - but Chas is furious to see her arch-nemesis behind the bar.

Soon afterwards, Charity watches on in amusement as the fiery brunette gives Eve a big shove - but Chas is forced to back off when Edna enters the pub.

With the tension simmering, Eve has some surprising news up her sleeve and she declares to everyone that she's decided to leave the village. Edna is stunned by the revelation and tries to convince her to stay, but she soon realises that Eve has made up her mind and there's an emotional farewell ahead for the pair.
