Fearing that his latest plot against Eddie (David Essex) is going awry, Michael (Steve John Shepherd) piles the pressure on Vanessa - ordering her to destroy his father's relationship with Carol, or else.
Things become easier for Vanessa (Zöe Lucker) when Eddie and Carol have another argument, which is sparked when Carol feels that the antiques dealer has ripped Cora off on a sale.
Upset over the row, Eddie opens up to Vanessa - but he's left stunned when she seizes her chance and moves in for a kiss. What will Eddie do now?

An EastEnders insider commented: "Vanessa has been really torn - she didn't want any part of Michael's plan, but she's in a desperate situation and sees no other option.
"However, as she has been spending more time with Eddie, the pair have grown closer. The lines are becoming blurred for Vanessa - has she fallen for her prey?"
