In a behind-the-scenes chat with the official EastEnders website, Pascoe reflected on his alter ego's troubled times with dad Phil, working with Steve McFadden and more.
Pascoe explained: "Ben and Phil's relationship at the minute is a bit rocky. So we're going to have to see whether they can iron out the creases or not. You'll have to tune in!"
He continued: "Within the next couple of years I'd like [Ben] to come out of his shell a little bit. I want him and his dad's relationship to get better, so he can start being himself again. I'd love Ben to then take over The Vic and take over the Square!"
