'EastEnders' Lola shares shock news with Billy - Spoiler Picture

Published Tuesday, Nov 15 2011, 00:21 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly | 14 comments
EastEnders' Billy Mitchell receives a shock next week when his rebellious granddaughter Lola Pearce announces that she is pregnant.

Billy (Perry Fenwick) begins to worry about Lola when the school informs him that she has been missing lessons, and viewers later discover that the teen tearaway is hiding a secret as she clutches a pregnancy test out of his sight.

After the test gives a positive result, Lola (Danielle Harold) soon shares the news with Billy - explaining that she doesn't plan on returning to school as she's expecting a baby.

Lola goes on to boast about how she'll be given a flat of her own, but a stunned Billy insists that it won't be so simple.

As the shock sinks in, Billy is determined to find out who the father is, but Lola isn't giving anything away - insisting that it doesn't matter as they can raise the baby themselves.

When Billy convinces Pat (Pam St Clement) to give Lola some advice, the Albert Square matriarch suggests that an abortion could be her best option. However, Lola stands firm - she's keeping the baby and she'll be a good mother. Will she stick with her decision?

Lola shares her big news with Billy on Tuesday, November 22 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
