EastEnders' Denise Fox kicks off the New Year with a bang this week as she launches a one-woman campaign to bring down Phil Mitchell.
Denise (Diane Parish) will soon be left furious when she discovers that the police have released Phil without charge after holding him over Kevin's death.
Taking matters into her own hands, Denise puts up posters all over the Square which brand Phil a murderer - before heading over to The Arches for a furious showdown with the Albert Square hardman.
Phil (Steve McFadden) is initially unaware that anyone has entered the garage as he is working on a car. However, suddenly the engine starts up and viewers will see that Denise is at the wheel - full of rage.
A scared Phil is pinned between the wall and the car as vengeful Denise revs the engine. Will Denise see sense or will she try to finish off Phil once and for all?

Over on Coronation Street, scheming Kirsty finally shows her true colours during a fresh row with Tina later this month.
Tina (Michelle Keegan) becomes increasingly suspicious that Kirsty is out to get her in the coming days, but her accusations make her sound paranoid and nobody believes what she has to say.
Tension between the pair escalates when Tina's bags are searched by a store detective while she's out shopping. A few days later, there's more 'bad luck' as Rita is stopped by police for speeding after Kirsty overheard that she was due to lend her car to Tina.
Convinced that Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) is behind it all, Tina confronts her at Number 9 - and the bitchy police officer warns that there'll be much more trouble to come if Tina doesn't stay out of her way.
Unfortunately for Kirsty, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) has heard the whole thing and he's stunned to realise that Tina was right all along. Deciding where his loyalties lie, he promptly kicks his girlfriend out!

When the all-important day finally arrives, Debbie is awkward when she turns up at Andy's to have sex with him, but she tries her best to ignore her nerves.
In the end, though, Andy is left humiliated when Debbie admits that she can't go through with it and quickly leaves.

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks' Brendan goes all-out to prove that he is a good father when his son Declan pays a return visit to the village.
Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) is pleased to be spending more time with the teenager, but his ruthless behaviour soon rears its ugly head when he gets involved in a friendly game of football with Declan (Jay Duffy) and the sixth formers.
Losing his temper, Brendan ends up terrorising the sixth formers on the pitch - leaving Cheryl (Bronagh Waugh) and Lynsey (Karen Hassan) concerned about the way he's behaving in front of the impressionable youngster.
When Declan starts showing some Brendan-like tendencies during a pub quiz, does it prove that Cheryl and Lynsey are right to be worried?

Marina (Marian McLoughlin) is reluctant to talk to a stranger so she begs Heston to help her instead. However, when they sit down for their first counselling session, Heston's questions don't go down well with Marina and she lashes out again - asking why he puts up with her.
