Viewers saw Joey (David Witts) make an explosive entrance onto Albert Square last week as he punched Derek following a long period of estrangement between the pair.
Next week's episodes see Derek (Jamie Foreman) eager to make amends with Joey, inviting him and Alice along to a special family lunch. Following some initial reluctance, it seems that Joey could finally be relenting when he agrees to come along.
However, as we reported last week, scheming Joey brings Lucy, Fatboy, Whitney, Tyler and Anthony along to the cosy family occasion - knowing that this will provoke his father.
Joey is determined for Alice to see Derek in the worst light possible, and his plan seems to work perfectly when Derek finds it impossible to stay calm.
As seen in the newly-released picture below, Derek is full of rage and raises a fist to his son. Alice (Jasmyn Banks) is horrified by the altercation and soon faces a difficult decision over where her loyalties lie…

Later in the week, Joey is at the centre of yet another drama as he steps in to help Lucy (Hetti Bywater) when she gets some unwanted male attention.
Jumping to her defence, short-tempered Joey punches the guy in question - leaving viewers to wonder once again whether he's more like Derek than he'd care to admit!
