Tanya's new story kicks off when her ex-partner Max makes a barbed remark about her being single. Quick to retaliate, Tanya claims that she is actually seeing someone at the moment.
When Phil overhears this exchange, he tells Tanya (Jo Joyner) that it was obvious she was lying and she'll look like an idiot when Max finds out the truth.
Phil (Steve McFadden) then offers Tanya a way out of her predicament by asking her round for dinner, and she gratefully accepts.
Although they both just want to wind up Max, the evening goes so well that they decide to meet again the next night. However, on their second date, Tanya gets progressively drunk and makes a move on Phil…
