As previously reported, Johnny's sister Nancy will be responsible for revealing his secret during a family row later this week.

In the fallout, it's Linda (Kellie Bright) who reacts badly to Johnny being gay and she even advises him to give things a try with Whitney Dean instead.

Johnny is annoyed further when the Walford men uncover an old Page 3 picture of Linda and start passing it around at the pub. To his dismay, Linda thinks Johnny is overreacting when he gets angry with the locals.

Now wanting the freedom to be himself, Johnny later announces to the Carters that he is leaving The Vic as a result of the recent tension. Can the family resolve their differences, or will Johnny have to follow through with his threat?

EastEnders these scenes next week on BBC One.
