'EastEnders' Vixens: The Rise and Fall of Stella
Another EastEnders special has been plumbed into the schedules next month to tie in with the demise of Stella Crawford (Sophie Thompson). Or should that be Mitchell? Who knows.

When she first arrived in Walford, Stella seemed to be a caring, sharing woman with a desire to be loved. But slowly and surely, she revealed she was wicked and devious. She got what she wanted - even if it meant bullying a small child. But Stella is about to be caught out and the fallout is dramatic.

EastEnders Vixens: The Rise and Fall of Stella is a 60-minute BBC Three special which delves deep into the psyche of Stella and includes exclusive backstage access to her last moments with EastEnders. The programme also takes a look at the many women of Walford who have caused madness, mayhem and murder throughout Albert Square over the years.

With contributions from Sophie Thompson (Stella Crawford), Tracy Ann Oberman (Chrissie Watts), and Laurie Brett (Jane Collins), the programme reveals that Walford is, indeed, a warren full of ‘bunny boilers’.

EastEnders Vixens: The Rise and Fall of Stella airs on Friday, July 20 on BBC Three at 8pm.
