'EastEnders' reveal

Published Friday, Sep 21 2007, 21:43 BST | By Kris Green | 33 comments
Just in case you missed it (where on earth were you?!) here's tonight's EastEnders reveal again where we finally discovered who's been stalking Ian.

Update: Just to clarify, Ian said "It can't be" when the person walked into the room...

What did you think? Better than you expected? Or could they have done more? Let me know 'Your Views' using the form below!

YES! Steven is back and he's fit!

"It can't be"? I'm sure he says "Gum!"...

I think it must be Steven. However, when he left he was pure blond. His hair looked almost black. And does anyone remember how bad he was when he left? He was sending poison pen letters before he went to NZ to live with his dad, so it's fitting he'd be capable of this. I really enjoyed the episode. What a spook-fest. And its not even Halloween!

I thought, overall, it was an interesting and well made episode. Surely, though, a line such as "Steven? It can't be?" might have been a much better pay off. Everyone was expecting a reveal episode and to be left guessing what Ian said and guessing who it was, is just plain silly. Kudos to me though, I said in the beginning it was Steven. Over all, good episode. Crap pay off.

I think it's Steven Beale, Simon's son...

I thought it was the best episode this month, or even this year! Can't believe it was Steven all along - I really thought it was Cindy back from the dead! Thanks for posting that excellent scene again, Kris!

It's not Peter, he was at home with Jane... It's Steven the son Ian thought was his.

Very long and drawn out I thought. It was Steven Beale. Thank God for Sky Plus - had to rewind it three times and only after my husband said (it cant BE!!!) I realised what Ian said...

I can't believe I fell for it again Kris. Every time you say that an episode of EastEnders is unmissable I tune in. It was such an anticlimax - I'm never gonna believe you again...
Martina, Dublin, on September 22nd, 2007
It's Peter Beale.. I read the credits last night and it was Peter's name came up... So its Ian's son...
Kate, Wales, on September 22nd, 2007
Steven, Ian's son. Don't you remember Ian's favourite phrase... "Steven and the twins"?
Ryan, London, on September 22nd, 2007
It's Steven Beale - Ian's step-son. He's come back to get revenge.
Rhiannon, on September 22nd, 2007
I loved it. It didn't disappoint me. Last night showed why EE is best soap at the moment, some forums got closed down as there was so many people talking about it. I think it's Steven.

Whoever it is, he is LUSH!!!
Kevin, North, on September 22nd, 2007
What a let down. Whole episode was a complete yawn fest. Why do EastEnders writers always drag things out until you couldn't give a flying fig anymore? It's obviously Steven and they've decided to drag it on over the weekend. Insert yawn here ____________.
