Corks and eyes are a' poppin' in 'Enders

For all you EastEnders and Gemma Bissix fans out there - enjoy.
And if you're busting to find out why Clare's dressed so scantily, click here for more.

Meanwhile, 'Enders writers came under fire from DS forum members at the weekend for 'stealing' a scene from The Simpsons as tonight's episode sees Charlie Slater 'accidentally touching' Yolande Trueman's posterior.
As some forum members quite rightly pointed out, this memorable scene was originally championed in an episode of The Simpsons from 1994 called 'Homer Badman', which saw Homer pulling a gummy Venus de Milo from a feminist's rear end.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I really like it when TV shows adapt ideas. And I'm sure the producers enjoy reading the reactions when people actually notice.
Elsewhere, it's been hinted that Shabnam Masood will embark on an affair of the heart with a new 'hunk'. Well, I can confirm that she does spend time with a new character called Jalil Iqbal - a friend of the family who her mother, Zainab, sets her daughter up with. I've never heard of the actor who's playing him but just for you, his name is Jan Uddin. He'll appear in a handful of episodes at the end of March.
Finally, I've had quite a few e-mails recently asking after a number of our favourite Walford semi-regulars, in particular Heather's mum, Queenie Trott. Well, reading ahead, I spy her name in print within quite a comedic storyline arc - keep an eye out for that one. And my final tease of this entry: there's a more-than-obvious turn of events with Steven and Stacey. I think we all saw this one coming, so I'm not averse to mentioning it.

AP Miller, what are you on about? All the soaps nick ideas of each other, even your beloved Corrie so not just EastEnders, OK?

Miss AP Miller - you ask who cares about Clare, Ian, Steven and Stacey and about the new character? Well obviously viewers who where interested do. Maybe you should respect their opinion is different to yours and not write them off. It's rude.

I wish the producers of EastEnders would learn to come up with their own ideas regarding storylines instead of pinching storylines used in another programme. And who cares about why Clare is dressed so scantily and what is going to be going on with her and Ian, Steven and Stacey and about the new character we shall soon be seeing in the square?
