Oł est Lucille Beale?

Published Monday, Apr 14 2008, 16:16 BST | By Kris Green | 14 comments
I've had quite a few emails of late asking about everyone's favourite East-End teenage rebel Lucy Beale. Just where is she? What's she been doing for all this time?

Here are five suggestions as to where she could be and why.

Where? Lucy could be hiding in Weymouth and found inside a beach hut by Sean Slater and Roxy Mitchell as they argue on the sands.
Why? She decided that, by moving to the seaside, she may have more chance of finding her mother, Cindy, who she's heard is now working on a cruise ship as an exotic belly dancer.

[As an aside, there's been quite a but of confusion as to when the Weymouth episodes are supposed to be airing. But I can confirm that they'll be on-screen in July, not the end of May as has been suggested in the press. Similarly, a tabloid report last week claimed that Ronnie and Roxy were in Weymouth in search of their long-lost uncle. As we all know, however, they're looking for their father, Archie.]

Where? The teen has been living at St Pancras International train station for a few weeks, as recent pap pics would suggest.
Why? She's been waiting for Ian to somehow realise where she is so when he does, she can push him off the platform into the path of a high-speed train and finish him off once and for all.

Where? Lucy's been squatting in the building where Jane was shot and Steven created the 'Cindy shrine'.
Why? She met a voodoo lady in the market who promised that she could help bring back a loved one from the dead on the condition there was a dedicated shrine. Lucy knew the ideal place...

Where? A desolate and run-down house somewhere in the country with fellow tearaway teen Craig Dixon.
Why? Craig was released from a Young Offenders' institute, called Lucy and vowed revenge on Ian. Lucy's decided to meet with him to plot their mode of attack.

Where? Under Jack's desk in R&R.
Why? SO much goes on in that office that nobody would notice she was there anyway...

Just where could Lucy be? All will be revealed in a few weeks' time, but until then, let me know your thoughts using the form below!
