Later, Ronnie rushes around to the club to see Jack as his call sounded urgent, but Jack's a little uncomfortable as he prepares to tell Ronnie that he's moving in with Tanya. After hearing the news, Ronnie tries to steer the conversation back onto business, but Jack says that she wanted her to hear the news from him. As she goes to leave, Ronnie wishes him well with his relationship but asks whether he's pursuing Tanya for love or to get back at Max.
Across the Square, Max is on the phone to Suzy and agrees to help her out, before persuading Ronnie to go for a drink with him. Ronnie's captivated by Max as he gives his view of his brother's new romance. Max buys another round of drinks and Ronnie raises her glass, wishing herself a happy birthday. Max seizes the opportunity to try and kiss her. For a split second, she's drawn to him, but she quickly pushes him away.
Peggy sees that Ronnie's distressed at not knowing her sister's whereabouts and Roxy's been ignoring her sister's calls. Peggy, however, suggests that she try phoning Roxy and manages to get her address - she's in Dorset. Peggy and Ronnie head out of the pub, leaving Phil in charge. With Ronnie having had too much to drink, Peggy takes her place behind the wheel and stalls her Jeep. Sean, however, sees the Mitchell women are missing and realises something isn't right…
Elsewhere, Phil's looking for a new house, while Ben worries about the move; Billy tells Peggy about the work on the council flats affecting the kids; Phil apologises to Max for throwing him out of The Vic; Peggy offers Billy and Honey a room at The Vic for a while; and Phil agrees to take some money to Max's sister, Suzy.
