Peggy has a shocking favour to ask of Phil

Following the tragedy of her wedding day, Peggy makes an unexpected return to The Vic after staying at Aunt Sal's for a few days. Despite trying to carry on as normal, Phil and Roxy can see she's still distraught about the events of last week. Peggy, however, is determined to make a fresh start and announces her intention to hold a Mitchell family dinner later that day. Seeing a photo with Archie in and all the wedding presents, Peggy instructs Phil to bin the lot. Peggy's later surprised to hear that Archie's living at Janine's and makes a call to him, beckoning him over to The Vic.

When a complacent Archie wanders into the pub, Peggy pours all the frumpy frocks he's ever bought her in front of him and suggests that they'd be perfect for Janine. After a brief visit from Pat, Peggy asks Phil for a favour. She asks her son to kill Archie…

Meanwhile, after being overlooked by Tanya to attend a trade fair, Chelsea mentions to Patrick that Theo hasn't called for a few weeks. Patrick realises how happy Theo makes her and urges her to call him. Arranging a date at The Vic, a glammed-up Chelsea arrives in time to see Stacey throwing herself at Theo. A cat fight quickly breaks out and Phil is forced to separate them. Worrying that Theo doesn't like her in the way she hopes, Chelsea confronts him with her feelings. A reassuring Theo reciprocates with a kiss.

Elsewhere, Stacey struggles to come to terms with Danielle's death; Mo reminds Stacey about Lauren's court case, and tells her that the police have been in touch to check that she's attending court; and as Ronnie tries to find closure, Stacey tells her a few home truths.
