Jean's concerned for Stacey
A dishevelled and agitated Stacey frantically rings the doorbell at the Slaters' and Jean's stunned when she opens the front door to see the state of her daughter. She takes her into the front room and attempts to discover what happened to her, before noticing her cut and blistered feet. All the while, Stacey's eyes glaze over as she stares into thin air. Jean goes to the kitchen and cries, as she realises that Stacey's suffering the very same symptoms of bipolar that she did. Stacey soon opens up to Jean and confesses that she's been working in a club.

When Charlie and Mo arrive home, Jean tries to keep them away from Stacey, but when Mo barges past her into the living room, she can't believe that she's staring at the same Stacey that left a few weeks ago. Jean eventually agrees with Mo's suggestion that Stacey go to see Dr Jenkins, though Stacey isn't impressed and starts to cry. Tanya soon arrives, but Mo quickly throws her out for interfering. Jean leads Stacey into the Square gardens and tells her teary-eyed daughter that they'll battle through her problems together. Tanya, meanwhile, looks on from across the Square, evidently concerned for her.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's not impressed in the slightest by her mother and father's arrival at R&R - especially when she spots Denise dancing to 'Can't Touch This'. Later, Ellis sends over a bottle of champagne to Denise and Lucas, before Chelsea properly introduces them to her boyfriend. A drunken Denise knocks Chelsea's bag to the floor and when Lucas picks up the contents, he's shocked to see a wrap of cocaine. Pocketing the drugs, he hands back Chelsea's bag and takes Denise home. Later, Lucas confronts his daughter about the drugs. She claims that one of Ellis's friends gave her it, but Lucas knows otherwise. Later that night, Ellis leaves Chelsea a voicemail and as he hangs up, he's struck on the back of the head - by Lucas.

Elsewhere, Tanya tells Max he's partly to blame for the state Stacey's in; Janine's shocked to realise that Amira's moving in, not Syed; Christian celebrates his birthday with James in the club; Christian returns to the house to find Peter and Lucy drinking with their friends, so he promptly throws them out; Minty, Manda, Ronnie and Jack play strip poker; Darren offers Whitney a job; James rejects Christian's advances as he's in a relationship; Jack and Ronnie stay behind at The Vic after closing for some quality time together, only to be interrupted by Peggy; and Janine may have met her match in Amira.
