Peggy's stunned to find Archie in The Vic

Over breakfast, Roxy receives another mysterious text message from someone wanting to see her, before Peggy lectures her about giving Amy a proper father figure. Peggy sets off the burglar alarm at The Vic as she's forgotten the code and she's forced to run through the market in her dressing gown to find Minty. On her way back, she bumps into a handsome older man who she takes a shine to. After seeing Mo with a leaflet for 'facial fillers', Peggy makes a call to the cosmetic surgeons to ask for a quote. Roxy, however, isn't impressed. Later, Peggy's interested when she hears Mo talking about 'Marilyn's Facial Fillers'.

Peggy turns up at the Slaters' to talk to Mo about Marilyn's facial treatments. While there, she finds Pat and an argument ensues when Mo reveals that there's only enough facial filler for one. Pat, however, rumbles Mo's scam - Marilyn's not really 62, she's actually in her 40s. Outside, Peggy bumps into the good-looking stranger from earlier on and she walks away smiling. Later, the same guy turns up in The Vic and Peggy turns on the charm. The burglar alarm is set off again, though, and when Peggy turns it off, she's stunned to turn around to find Archie on the stairs. Menacingly, he says: "Hello Peggy…"

Meanwhile, Shirley's serving breakfast while talking down to Heather about her baby plans. On returning from the shop with cereal, Heather's disappeared. While the expectant mother's out, a lady from the adoption agency calls at the flat as Shirley's arranged a visit. Later at the chippy, Heather tells Shirley that she's having her baby and won't give it up. When Shirley refers to the unborn child as a "mistake", a raging Heather bolts out the door and heads back to the flat to pack her bags. Later in the pub, Shirley arrives and surprisingly pledges her support. Thrilled by her best friend's change of heart, Heather agrees to return home.

Elsewhere, Denise shows Lucas a key to a caravan she's hired for a short break; Minty can't bring himself to tell Garry about Dawn and Phil; Jane's disgusted to find a poster for a children's talent competition with a cash prize; Janine turns up on Pat's doorstep hoping to stay for a while, but Pat turns her down; Denise and Lucas receive a phone call from Jordan's school informing him that he's been skipping classes; Janine threatens to hurt Terrence if Tiffany doesn't enter the children's talent contest; Manda reluctantly agrees to let Dawn and Garry sort their own problems out; and Jordan returns home and admits that he's been living with Trina and wants to move in with her permanently.
