The Mitchells deal with Sam's return
Bianca's reeling after discovering that Sam Mitchell's returned to the area, while Phil's fuming that Ricky's brought her back. Bianca insists that Sam has 'blood on her hands', but Ricky explains that he couldn't leave Sam out in Brazil on her own. With that, Peggy walks in and is delighted to see her daughter. Phil's concerned that the police will still want to speak with Sam, but she's adamant that they won't be interested in her any longer. Phil calls the family lawyer, while Sam suggests that she and Billy go down into the bar for a drink. Downstairs, Ricky's having a drink with Bianca and he explains that Phil offered him a job at the Arches if he did him a favour. Sam walks into the bar with Billy and Ricky heads over to have a drink with them, before Ronnie returns to see an ecstatic Sam.

While Ricky admits that the day he spent in Brazil with Sam was one of the best he's ever had, Phil's talking with the family lawyer on the phone. Phil looks at his sister's passport and arranges a time to meet the lawyer following day. Phil's
panicky when he can't find Sam upstairs in The Vic and when he walks into the bar, he's stunned to find her dancing on a table. Livid, he beckons her upstairs, while Ricky returns home with Bianca. As they're leaving, Billy tells Ricky that Sam's returning to Rio. At home, Bianca reveals to Whitney that Ricky smuggled Sam back into the country. Peggy, meanwhile, claims that the evening's events 'didn't happen'. Phil then walks through the door with Sam in tow.

A seemingly happy Ricky apologises to Bianca, before revealing that Sam hasn't actually left the country - Phil made it look like he was taking her to the airport so everyone would think that she'd disappeared again. Shortly afterwards, Ricky admits to Bianca that he thinks he's still in love with Sam…

Meanwhile, the Masoods are having problems with their electrics at the house. Masood suggests that they ask Denise if they can borrow her cooker, but Tamwar's reluctant to face Libby since he didn't get the grades for Oxford. Later, Tamwar's dismissive when Libby tries to talk to him about the Oxford freshers' fair. The Masoods are eating with the Foxes when the doorbell rings - it's Tamwar. He admits to Libby that he's been avoiding her because he didn't get into Oxford, prompting Denise to suggest that he should appeal his grades. Lucas heads across to the Masoods to fix the electrics in the house, while Zainab tells Tamwar how proud they are of him. She then asks Masood to bring Tamwar's old cot down from the loft.

Elsewhere, Lucas is forced to hide Trina's bracelet when Jordan approaches; Jordan asks his father whether his mother will ever change her ways; Lucas bumps into the police who ask him to accompany them to the community centre as there's been a break-in; and Lucas prays when they leave.
