Lucas manages to convince his family that he sent the lilies to Liz out of sympathy for Owen's disappearance. Libby, however, needs more convincing and Lucas is forced to have an eerie one-to-one chat with her. Lucas explains the similarities between him and Owen, before insisting that Owen's isolating himself as it's the knee-jerk reaction - and that contacting him will potentially push him over the edge again. Libby reluctantly accepts that Owen's more than likely fallen off the wagon again and with that, she hugs Lucas and thanks him for his kind words and concern.
Annoyed by the graffiti on Archur's bench, Jean and Charlie decide that the time is nigh to petition for the Square gardens to be given a makeover. Lucas, however, is visibly concerned about the idea as he knows it would mean digging up Trina's tree - and who's beneath it…

Wanting to exact revenge on Leon for mocking her earlier in the day, Whitney holds her phone and contemplates letting Leon know about Lucy's secret.
Elsewhere, Danny sabotages a pump at The Vic in a bid to help Peggy; Roxy's left to clean up the mess; when Danny returns from lunch with Peggy, it's clear that Roxy's beginning to crack under the pressure; Peggy realises that she has a new ally in Danny; Roxy relents and eventually asks Peggy for help; and Danny manages to convince Roxy to keep The Queen Vic bust on the bar.

Lucas takes Libby to one side and explains that he and Libby's father are the same kind of man, both being former alcoholics.
