DC Walker turns up at Patrick's house to check on Jordan. Learning that Ben could spend up to four years in a detention centre and that his statement will be played in court, Jordan begins to worry. Taking the youngster to the café, Denise questions him about his concern. She's surprised, though, when Jordan confesses that he doesn't want to let his father down. With that, Jordan goes on to admit that he called Ben a girl and threatened that something bad would happen if he wasn't left alone. Later, Denise talks to Lucas about the case and reveals that Jordan provoked Ben but Lucas insists that Ben is evil - and that Jordan's statement isn't changing, before storming out.

Meanwhile, Heather interrupts Darren at the Car Lot as he listens to a message from Jodie. Later, Darren suggests that he and Max should double-date mother-daughter duo Vanessa and Jodie. Max, however, insists that he's only friends with Vanessa. In a bid to impress Jodie, Darren lies that he owns the Car Lot and Max happily plays along. During their date in The Vic, Heather interrupts Darren and asks him to look after George for an hour the next day. Darren hesitantly agrees, while Jodie thinks that George is a dog, prompting Darren to admit that he's his son. Much to Darren's relief, Jodie's happy about the situation. On their way back to the Car Lot, Jodie reveals that she still lives with her parents. Opening the door, Darren spots Max and Vanessa in flagrante on the floor of the office. He quickly averts Jodie's attention, hoping she doesn't see.
Elsewhere, Denise grabs her red basque and holds it up to herself while looking at Lucas but she's interrupted by a knock at the door; and Billie's forced to take Carol on his date with Whitney as he enjoys his final few hours before officially joining the army.
