Peggy confronts Glenda in the R&R toilets about knowing that Archie abused Ronnie. As she does, Ronnie walks in, but Glenda doesn't reveal what they were talking about and walks out with Ronnie. Jack soon opens some champagne and Glenda makes a toast to her daughters as Peggy storms out, sickened. Glenda follows Peggy, spitefully saying that Ronnie won't believe her, but Peggy warns that she'll make Glenda tell the truth.

Glenda rushes over to explain herself, thinking that Peggy has already told the truth. She drops herself in it.
Glenda drunkenly continues to order drinks at the bar, but fear strikes her when she sees Peggy talking to Ronnie. Glenda rushes over to explain herself, thinking that Peggy has already told the truth, but she drops herself in it as Peggy hadn't yet revealed anything. Ronnie is horrified and soon tells Glenda that she wants to know the truth. After Glenda admits that she can't excuse herself and there's nothing she can say, Ronnie tells Glenda that she will never be her mum. Roxy rushes home, packs up Amy's stuff and tells Glenda that she will never see her again. Glenda is left sobbing on the sofa as Jack holds Ronnie tightly.

Meanwhile, desperate for more funds to buy drugs, Phil heads over to the Arches, where he finds the cash box as Minty and Ricky return. Seeing that Phil is demonic, Minty calmly tells Phil to put the money back, but Phil threatens him. Minty quickly slams the door and locks him in, as a furious Phil threatens to kill him. Minty and Ricky run to Shirley's for help, so she goes to visit Phil in the Arches and the door is locked behind her.

Shirley comforts Phil, telling him that he can get clean.
Shirley tries to reason with Phil, touching his cheek as she explains that she knows he is using drugs but is confident he can get clean. Phil tells her that he just wants his kids, so Shirley says he should let her help. Later, Shirley chucks Rainie out of Phil's flat before discovering that he is stealing money she left on the table. Shirley orders Phil to choose between drugs and her - and is left broken when he takes the money and leaves.

Elsewhere, Heather is heartbroken when bailiffs chuck her and Shirley out of the flat, and she's later angry when she realises that Phil will always come first for her best friend.
