Lying in bed, Ryan alleviates Stacey's fears about what people will be saying about them. Meanwhile, Janine has been awake all night replaying Stacey's confession. At the Brannings', Lauren admits to Max that she has given Janine the recording of Stacey confessing to Archie's murder. Max is livid as he thought he'd deleted it, but Lauren tells him that she kept a copy. Later, while Janine is out, Max breaks into her flat and searches for the phone, but Janine arrives home and catches him. She questions Max's motive for wanting to help Stacey.

Janine suggests that she and Max could work together to clear Bradley's name but Max leaves, telling Janine she can do what she wants and he doesn't care. Janine rushes to where she has hidden the phone, elated to see that Max did not find it. Having left the flat, Max tries to get in touch with Stacey but she doesn't hear her phone. In The Vic, everyone is full of Christmas cheer until Janine arrives all dolled up. Insisting that people should know the truth about Stacey, a gloating Janine holds Lauren's phone to play the recording. Stacey panics - what is she going to do?

Frustrated, Bianca tries to show them that there is nothing to hide and starts moving furniture to prove her point, but she spots Connor's jewellery. Shocked, she covers it and admits to where the perfume is, but as the officer tries to calm her down, she pushes his arm and accidentally slaps him. As Ricky and the kids arrive home from the concert, they are shocked to see Bianca being taken away in a police car. Will Bianca make it back for Christmas?
