
Later, the Queen Vic's football team prepares for another match, but Billy isn't sure whether he should play as he may not get back in time to carry the torch. Keen to keep hold of the publicity surrounding Billy at the moment, Alfie convinces him not to let the team down. However, as the team are travelling home on the tube following a defeat, tempers become frayed between the Branning brothers. As Derek lunges at Jack and Max, a hapless Anthony panics and pulls the emergency alarm - causing the train to stop. Billy is livid - could this stop him from getting back in time to carry the torch?

Elsewhere, Cora and Patrick go to Joy's house clearance, as arranged last week. This means that the pair have to carry on pretending to be a couple. It's clear that Patrick genuinely likes Cora, but she is struggling to admit that she feels the same way. Later at The Vic, Joy confronts Cora about her relationship with Patrick, having been tipped off by Tyler that they are faking. However, Cora protests that it's the real deal and tries to prove it by kissing Patrick in front of everyone!
Also, Tanya's concerns for Lucy and Bobby grow when she sees Bobby accidentally cut himself in the café, a bored Kat sends a text to her mystery lover as she holds the fort at The Vic, while Zainab reluctantly takes on longer hours at the Minute Mart as she realises that the family are in a desperate financial situation.
