Tanya and Stacey scrap at Peggy's party

Before they head off for Peggy's birthday party, Max warns her to keep an eye on Tanya since Sean's sniffing around. At the Vic, Max has a go at Sean in the toilets and tells him to leave Tanya alone. With Max across the Square at the Slaters', Stacey questions Tanya about Spain. When Max returns, a furious Stacey confronts Max about the family plans to move abroad.

Later, Tanya accidentally spills Champagne over Stacey and Stacey freaks out, starting a fight until they're dragged apart. As Tanya's drying herself off in the toilets, Sean enters. He tells her that she's beautiful and kisses her. She responds momentarily, but pulls away. Stacey tells Max that she loves him but needs to know who he loves more. She tells him that he's got to leave Tanya. Stacey and Max are in the Slaters' and Tanya's looking for Max. She notices the light on and knocks on the door. Will their affair be uncovered?

Elsewhere, Ian tells Peggy that she's mutton dressed as lamb now she's turned 65; Stella continues to drive a wedge between Ben and Abi; Honey hands in her notice at Booty and then learns of their financial trouble; and Rob reassures May that everything's OK with Dawn and by next week everything will be fine.
