Stacey sets fire to her stock
Stacey arrives back on the Square after a night on the town and is forced to do a runner from the taxi driver. She wasn't expecting him to chase her, though! She carries on running and eventually drops into the café where Shirley sits in a drunken stupor. The pair have a frank exchange and Shirley eventually wards off the angry taxi driver for Stacey.

When Stacey returns home, Jean's still up waiting for her – she's been worried. Stacey, however, storms off to bed. Over at Shirley's, Sean stands over her bed with a baseball bat looking for Deano. Angered that he's disappeared again, he smashes her lamp and walks out.

Meanwhile, Christian and Lucy continue to wind Ian up about his 'gay date' with Edward, their prospective client. Ian's adamant that he's going to set the record straight as soon as he gets there – he's a pure, red-blooded, heterosexual male. Over dinner, Ian is taken aback that Edward was supposed to be awarded an MBE but his previous partner wouldn't go with him to the palace. As Ian becomes more and more inebriated, he agrees to join Edward as his guest when he goes to meet the Queen…

Mo and Jean realise what's wrong with Stacey's stock and don't savour telling her. However, as they're discussing it, she walks into the Launderette and finds out herself. She takes everything to the allotments and piles the up. Mo calls her to try and have the dresses brought back to the Square so they can give then back to Roger for a refund. Stacey, however, has other ideas. She sets fire to the pile and takes hefty swigs from a vodka bottle.

At R&R, Stacey's knocking the drinks back one after the other, while Steven tries to play catch up. Jack warns Steven to get Stacey out of the club for being too drunk. Sean arrives on the scene after being told to keep an eye on his sister by their mum. As they're about to drag Stacey out of the club, she suddenly collapses on the floor…

Elsewhere, Heather enjoys settling in with her new flatmates; Dot asks Jack to look after Clare at the club and also plays matchmaker by asking Gus to go on a date with her; Phil checks on Shirley to make sure she's OK after her heavy drinking session; and Garry's sure that Heather only moved in to get her hands on 'The Hobbster'.
