Ronnie reveals the secret behind her locket

Roxy's reeling following Ronnie's request for her to have an abortion. Roxy stands up to Ronnie and accuses her of being jealous, but Ronnie's reel of tightly-wound secrets slowly starts to unravel. Peggy looks confused as the sisters argue, until Roxy suggests she ask Ronnie about the locket she wears around her neck. Ronnie reluctantly begins to detail her harrowing and traumatic story.

Afterwards, Roxy tells Peggy not to ever bring the situation up with Ronnie again, while Peggy has a heart-to-heart with Roxy about the possibility of having a baby in her life. Later, Ronnie sits holding the locket in her hands as a sad song plays on the radio. She begins to cry as she makes the hardest decision of her life. Roxy finds Ronnie in the bar and apologises, but Ronnie's got something she wants to say to her sister…

Meanwhile, Shirley and Heather wake up in a cell at the police station and they're not allowed to be released until they sober up a little. Shirley wants to get out as soon as possible and keeps pressing the alarm bell until someone attends to them. The policewoman agrees that Shirley can have one phone call. Later, Heather begins to worry about the mess she thinks she's made of her marriage already. Heather's confused as to why Shirley gave Phil's name as her boyfriend's, but soon realises that it's not Vinnie she loves – it's Phil.

Elsewhere, a lonely Dot chats to Tanya about Jim still being away; Zainab catches Shabnam walking out of the club and the pair come to blows and after talking things through with her daughter, Zainab makes a phone call…
