The Millers discover they've won the lottery

Chelsea's withdrawn state begins interfering with her work and Tanya's not impressed, while at the Truemans', Yolande tells Patrick to buck his ideas up and get on with his life. Bradley's boss Maggie demands a refund in the salon for the mess Chelsea has made of her nails and Tanya tells Chelsea that it's coming out of her wages. Seeing red, Chelsea takes £100 from the till when Tanya's gone. Clare tells Chelsea that she knows about her cocaine habit and to watch herself. When Chelsea leaves, an opportunistic Clare pockets another £100 from the open till.

Meanwhile, the Millers have various bills to pay, but when Dawn flicks through the papers, she suddenly begins shaking and shouting 'Oh my God' – five of their numbers have come up on the lottery and the whole house erupts into pandemonium. They all decide to keep quiet about their win, however, so the 'scroungers' won't take advantage of them! In The Vic, however, Mickey can't contain himself and tells everyone the good news…

Keith offers to buy everyone a drink in the pub, while Mickey, Dawn and Darren realise that the only way they can take advantage of the money is to sweet talk Keith – but he's a little cagey over where he's hidden the ticket. Later, Keith beams at his family as they frantically search for the ticket. He milks the big reveals and tells everyone that he keeps everything precious in his pocket – which has a hole in… We see the lottery ticket at the Millers' gate…

Elsewhere, Tanya tries to turn down a persistent Jack; Clare sets her sights on a man with a gold credit card; Tiffany tries to steal a plant pot from the Masoods' for her school project; Chelsea confronts a girl who's stolen from Stacey's stall; Tanya goes to Jack's house, but his back suddenly seizes up as they try to kiss; Clare tells Bradley that he can take her out for lunch; Maggie invites Bradley out to lunch; and Chelsea finds herself in a spot of trouble when she clashes with a group of teenage girls…
