Following DS Max Carter (Christopher Fox) and DC Jo Masters's (Sally Rogers) raid of Jimmy Mack's (Leo Conville) house, PCs Sally Armstrong (Ali Bastian) and Roger Valentine (John Bowler) are called to the home of former prostitute and drug addict Fran Morris (Kelly Harrison).
There, they discover that her young son Noah has collapsed after having taken some unknown pills found next to him. Roger quickly realises that Noah has taken Diazepam - the same ones that were found at Jimmy's house.
