The week following Damian Tucker's (Dorian Lough) arrest in the drugs sting, DS Max Carter (Christopher Fox) and DC Jo Masters (Sally Rogers) are called to attend a scene at Fran Morris's (Kelly Harrison) house - the woman who used to catch the drug lord.
There, they find Fran being stretchered into an ambulance having sustained severe head injuries, before realising that her 12-year-old son Noah is missing.
Despite being behind bars, Max is convinced that Damian orchestrated the incident and goes to question him.
