Les searches for family fortunes in 'The Bill'

Les Dennis is seen in our exclusive picture making his guest appearance in The Bill at the end of the month, playing a frantic Tom Walker.
Tom reports his father George's disappearance to the police and it's not long before Sam Nixon (Lisa Maxwell) and Phil Hunter (Scott Maslen) jump on the case. They are puzzled when they learn that personal items have gone missing and later horrified when Tom's father is uncovered in the basement freezer.
The investigation turns into a whodunnit when George's cleaner, Maria, admits that her employer was very kind and gave her a carriage clock and jewellery as gifts. She later confesses to more than just dusting the furniture.
The episode is to air on Thursday, August 24.
