Published Thursday, Jun 28 2007, 16:00 BST | By Kris Green

The 71-year-old actress - most famed for in her role as Nellie Boswell in the ‘80s cult BBC series - is to appear as Rose Harrison, an Alzheimer’s sufferer who has disappeared and is suspected of abducting - possibly endangering - the life of her grand-daughter’s new-born baby.
In his new role as Family Liaison Officer, PC Will Fletcher (Gary Lucy) finds himself struggling to speak with Rose's family and everyone is soon led to believe the worst about her when, during the search, PC Dan Casper (Chris Jarvis) finds a baby blanket covered in blood.
The actress, who filmed her scenes with the ITV cop drama last month, will be seen on screen in August.
